Licenses adapted to your needs
With a device's Client Access Licenses (CAL), you are implementing a CAL for each device that accesses your server, regardless of the number of users that are using that device to access the server. Device client access licenses may make more economical and administrative sense if your enterprise has employees that share devices, for example, on different work shifts.
Remote Desktop Connection broker
This RDS element functions as a connection broker between individual users who have remote workstations and the correspondent server in your company. This means that the user's executing programs are preserved despite the connection being interrupted. The RD Connection Broker can then log the user back into their original session.
Remote Desktop Gateway
The RD Gateway allows a rapid and secure connection over the Internet between end-user virtual desktops or RemoteApp programs that are located beyond the corporate firewall and the corporate network. The RD Gateway establishes an encrypted SSL channel between the user's device and the RD Gateway server, authenticating the user into the environment and also defining the resources which the user can access in a secure environment. In addition, the Remote Desktop Gateway is in charge of the data traffic transmission and can also define various timeout properties if a user is not active for a long period of time
